Guitarist Brian Hager attended Berklee College of music in Boston before becoming a part of the Cleveland music scene in the early 1990s. He’s played with glam rockers Vanity Crash, blues artist Travis Moonchild Haddix, the Chromes and Infinite Twelve. Since 2017, he’s led indie rockers the Tie Downs as lead vocalist and guitarist.
That band, which also includes guitarist Dennis Downey, drummer Albert Rager and bassist Matt Angelone, will be releasing a special edition of their CD at a show at Tremont’s CODA, free with each paid admission: $5 in advance, $7 at the door.
Also on the bill are the Borstal Boys and Balloon Knot. The Tie Downs play in the second slot, around 10pm.
