“The Nether” at Dobama Theatre Explores the Impact of Technology on Human Relationships

Wed 3/6-Sun 3/31

Dobama Theatre presents yet another Cleveland premier, this one of Los Angeles playwright Jennifer Haley’s The Nether, which had its first staging in southern California in 2013.

Haley’s work is concerned with the interaction of advancing technology and human nature and human relationships. The Nether is a science fiction crime thriller set in the near future when the Internet has evolved into a total immersion fantasy playground — where some of the fantasies are very dark.

New York-based director Shannon Sindelar helms the production which opens with previews Wed 3/6 and Thu 3/7 and runs Fri 3/8-Sun 3/31. Tickets are $29-$35.
