Learn How to Stargaze from a Professional Astronomer at the Lakewood Public Library

Thu 3/7 @ 7PM

Ohio’s plentiful rural land provides many opportunities for escape from light pollution. However, would-be star gazers might be intimidated trying to make sense of the cosmos. How do you begin to explore the infinite?

Worry no longer. Dean Regas, astronomer at the Cincinnati Observatory, has written a practical guide to galaxy-watching, and will give a free multimedia presentation at Lakewood Public Library. Regas, author of 100 Things to See in the Night Sky and co-host of the PBS series Star Gazers, will introduce attendees to the moon and other bodies in the solar system. Copies of Regas’ book will be available for sale and autographing. It’s happening Thu 3/7 @ 7pm at the Lakewood Public Library’s Main Library.

For more information, call the Lakewood Public Library at 216-226-8275 or visit the event website.
