If you’re just hanging out on a Saturday afternoon looking for some place to go, stop by the Beachland Ballroom where the Local Music Fund is presenting what it calls “a celebration of Cleveland’s jazz heritage.”
Hammond B-3 organ player Eddie Baccus Sr., a veteran of the local jazz scene who’s been around since the early 60s, will be bringing along his band, which usually includes some of the area’s jazz hotshots. And he’ll be joined by two of the area’s older generation of legends, vocalist Ron Davis and bluesman/harmonica player “Crazy Marvin” Braxton.
The show is free. Stop in after having some brunch at the tavern next door from 11am-3pm.
