Akron Art Museum Hosts a Day of “KidFlix” and Family Fun

It’ll be family day at the Akron Art Museum Sat 3/16 when two sessions of “KidFlix” family-friendly short films from the 2018 New York International Children’s Film Festival, with hands-on art activities to make the day out at the museum even more fun.

Art activities in the museum lobby start at 11am and run through 12:30pm, when the first session, geared for kids ages 3-7, starts with amusing films that hold the attention of and entertain the littlest kids. At 2:30pm a screening for ages 8 and up features live action and animated shorts in a variety of styles. From 3:30-4pm art projects can be completed to take home.

It’s all free, including gallery admission for kids 17 and under. But registration is required due to limited space in the auditorium. Go here. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
