Have you had a chance to check out the new Van Aken District yet? What was once a messy sprawl of stores at the intersection on Van Aken, Chagrin and Warrensville Center has been redesigned, restructured and rebranded as the Van Aken District, with a flock of new stores and a local emphasis. (Even that confusing intersection itself has been smoothed out.)
They’re giving people an incentive to come out in the cold, stroll around and drop in on some of the shops and eateries with their first-even Winteractive celebration. There’ll be activities inside and out, including an outdoor interactive light-art exhibition and illuminated installations 4-10pm each night. It kicks off Thu 2/7 @ 5pm with music and other family-friendly festivities. It’s free.
