Rock Hall Panel Looks at Opportunities in the Local Black Music Business

Wed 2/27 @ 5-6:30PM

In honor of black history month, the rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has convened a panel of black musicians and others working in the music industry right here in Cleveland.

Vocalist/songwriter/actress/educator Mariama Whyte moderates the event, where panelists will share their stories, their challenges and what Cleveland had to offer. Panelists include Angelita “DJ Misses” Owens, air personality on Cleveland’s Z.107.9, Radio One marketing director R Rohnesha M. Horne and Quincy “Big Heff” Taylor of Def Jam Records & VP of Nerve DJs. It will be followed by a Q&A where audience members can delve deeper into aspects of the panelists’ stories they’d like to know more about.

The discussion is free with RSVP at the Rock Hall website.
