The North Union Farmers Market at Shaker Square has long held weekly winter markets at an indoor location there. But that changes as of this week. The market says that the owner of Shaker Square has signed a new tenant for the location they use, so they’re moving to one of Shaker Heights’ hottest new areas. The Van Aken District Food Hall features whole raft of small local, food- and drink-related businesses of all types so the North Union Market should fit right in.
They won’t be spending too much time there because spring is coming! And on Sat 4/6, it returns to Shaker Square for its outdoor markets every week from 8am-noon, kicking off with the annual sheep shearing.
