There’s a new thing going down at Mac’s Backs in Coventry Village, which hosts a wide variety of author events, book clubs, poetry readings and other literary-type events.
The Feminist Writing Coven, hosted by local women’s activist Donna Shimko, brings together any interested women wondering how to turn their experiences, thoughts and feelings into coherent writing, or at least writing they feel accurately reflects their ideas. Bring a one-page piece of writing — any type — to share; if possible, bring some copies so people can follow along. Originally scheduled for 2/12, this event has been re-scheduled to occur on the last Tuesday of every month.
