Fri 1/4 @ 6-10PM

The theme for this month’s MIX party at the Cleveland Museum of Art is Pop Art, based on one of the simultaneously most accessible and most reviled styles of modern art which flourished in the 60s with artists such as Claes Oldenburg (creator of Cleveland’s Free Stamp), Roy Lichtenstein with his comics-style art and of course Andy Warhol and his famous soup cans and multiple images of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy.

The evening will feature specialty drinks, live music for dancing and gallery tours. It’s $10 in advance, $15 at the door and free for members. It’s an 18 and over event.
