New Incubator Ohio City Galley Hosts Brew and Bites to Introduce Its Four New Eateries

Thu 1/10 @ 6:30-8PM

Ohio City Galley, located in the former Massimo da Milano space at the corner of Detroit and W. 25th, is bringing a new concept to town, a twist on the old incubator idea. Four start-up chef-owners operate under one roof rent-free for a limited period of time, paying a percentage of their income for services such as maintenance, marketing and utilities to Ohio City Galley, which also works to help them build their brands and business plans to move on to their own spaces.

Each of the four has a distinctive slant to its food, and Ohio City Galley’s first Bites and Brews event gives guests a chance to same all of them. Included in the $30 ticket price are four taster beers, each paired with an appetizer from one of the kitchens.

You’ll get Oxacan quesadilla from Poca Casual Mexican, paired with Wyder’s Reposado Pear Cider; a mini hot chicken sandwich washed down with Jackie O’s Ricky from Sauce the City; pork tonkatsu with ham pâté and ginger and Brewdog’s Hazy Jane at TINMANcle; and shrimp fried rice from the Rice Shop with Bell’s Pomegranate Oarsman Ale.
