Explore the Human Mind at Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Think & Drink with the Extinct

Thu 1/17 @ 6-10PM

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Think and Drink with the Extinct monthly evenings give adults a chance to enjoy what the museum has to offer, explore some educational opportunities and partake of some beverages provided by Saucy Brew Works, Cleveland Whiskey and CLE Urban Winery, which help make it even more fun.

This month’s theme is “Mind Funk,” looking at neuroscience and how the brain works. There’ll be actual human brain specimens on view, courtesy of Cleveland State University. Dr. Acacia Parks Mo, chief scientist at Happifty, which offers strategies to combat stress, will offer science-based activities and games that help deal with stress and anxiety. And Hiram College students will lead activities and discussions about the psychological factors involved in problem solving.

There’ll also be a puzzle hunt where teams (up to four people) can solve various puzzles around the museum.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door CMNH members are free.
