Cleveland Rock Legend Paul Fayrewether Is Back at the House of Blues

Sat 1/19 @ 9PM

For 20 years, Paul Fayrewether fronted the Lorain-based band Fayrewether, which became known especially for its exceptional renditions of songs by Genesis, complete with theatrical accoutrements. At the height of the band’s popularity in the late ’70s and early-mid ’80s, they packed rooms all over the region.

Fayrewether attempted some original material and released several albums, but never found that sweet spot where their Genesis roots morphed into an original style. They disbanded in the mid ’90s, and Fayrewether continued to perform on his own, utilizing his smooth warm voice, charismatic good looks and lingering echoes of Genesis’ prog-rock drama to continue to charm area audiences.

After a few years of absence from local stages, Paul Fayrewether began performing some select location shows again. This time he’ll be at the House of Blues. General admission tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Reserved tickets are $20-$30.
