Stella’s Music Club Downtown Debuts Its Own Record Label

Wed 12/12 @ 6PM-midnight

In August, Stella’s Music Club took over the building across from Progressive Field that once housed another music-themed restaurant, Alice Cooperstown. Since then it’s not only been offering a watering sport to baseball and basketball fans, but also booking a steady stream of mostly local bands.

Now the owners of the club have launched their own label, Stella’s Records, in partnership with producer Jim Wirt and his Superior Sound studio in the Superior Arts District.

It’s announcing the label’s debut with an event at the club featuring its first signing, Queens, NY-based pop trio, Birds in the Boneyard. The Black Moods, Disconnected, Pale Hollow and the Tony Lang Band will also perform. Admission is free and there will be free appetizers as well.
