Fri 12/14 @ 7:30PM
Singer/songwriter Olivia Millerschin is only 23, but she’s an old veteran at Oberlin’s Riverdog Retreat, having performed there for the past three years. And her musical style is sophisticated for a young performer, adding jazz and pop touches to an Americana base. She’s released two albums, her most recent 2016’s Look Both Ways.
She’s back at the Riverdog Gallery for her annual holiday show — her fourth appearance at the venue. She and her band will perform two sets of holiday music, jazz standards and originals. She’ll also have her children’s book Cactus on a Ledge, based on song of the same name, available for sale. If you have kids, nieces or nephews, this would be a great gift.
Admission is $17 at the door; you can go to the website and make a reservation ahead of time. There’ll be free snacks, water and tea, ad Lorenzo’s wood-fired pizza will be there with their $9 pies. And as always, you are welcome to bring your picnic basket or cooler with whatever you choose.
