Pay What You Can or Bring a Can for the Hungry to the Maltz Museum on Christmas Day

Tue 12/25 @ 11AM-5PM

What can you do on Christmas Day if you don’t celebrate the holiday? One place that is always open on December 25 is the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage. Not only will it be open for the chance to see its current special exhibit Israel: Then & Now, as well as its regular exhibits of treasure from The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery and An American story, about the immigrant experience in Cleveland, but it’s also Pay What You Can Can day.

That means you can get in with a donation of canned goods, to be donated to the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, or pay what you can. There’ll also be the opportunity to make New Year’s cards for new immigrants and refugees to show them that many of us welcome them with open arms.
