Once Again, the Kishka Saves Christmas at the Happy Dog

Fri 12/14 @ 6PM

Justin Gorski, musician, polka lover and vegan chef (he and his wife own Cleveland Vegan in Lakewood), is better known to the public as DJ Kishka. In that identity, he sports a fake beard and founded the raucous day-after-Easter Dyngus Day festival in Gordon Square. For many years, he presided over Polka Happy Hours at the Happy Dog.

Riffing on the polka standard “Who Stole the Kishka?” he came up with “How the Kishka Saved Christmas,” a revue that includes music (polka, naturally), storytelling, humor, games and tacky ornaments. He’s rolling it out again at the Happy Dog for another evening of affectionate pokes at Polish culture.

It’s free.
