Informal Beau Coup Reunion & All-Star Cast of Local Musicians Highlight Benefit at Music Box

Sun 12/23 @ 7PM

Vocalist Frank Amato is known locally from his years fronting the popular local 80s band Beau Coup and now running a DJ/event business with his wife Lisa Dillon. He’s reached out into his large network in the local music community for his Frank Amato All Star Christmas Jam at the Music Box Supper Club, a benefit for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lorain County.

He describes the evening as “a tribute to Cleveland music by the musicians who actually made that music famous, with a sprinkling of Christmas music mixed in.”

Among the participants he’s lined up are Wally Bryson of the Raspberries, American Noise drummer Tommy Rich, internationally touring NE Ohio guitar star Neil Zaza, Steve Jochum of Wild Horses, recording engineer Kirk Yano, guitarist Richie Green aka Dick Whittinton, Paul Wolf Christensen, Danny Powers and Jennifer Lee of Michael Stanley & the Resonators, ubiquitous drummer Tom Amato, Disco Inferno’s Joey DePasquale, vocalists Debbie Lewin and Theresa Rose, and Amato’s Beau Coup bandmaters Dennis Lewin, Bill March, Don Kruger, Jimmy Clark and Mike McGill. Oh yeah … “and more.”

There’ll also be raffles and an auction of rock & roll collectibles to raise money for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lorain.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
