Hear Stories of Cleveland Christmases Past from Author Laura DeMarco at the Music Box

Wed 12/12 @ 7PM (doors 5pm)

Plain Dealer Friday Magazine editor Laura DeMarco recently put out her second book of Cleveland history. The new book Cleveland Then and Now moved on form her first, Lost Cleveland, to take a look at how things that have not disappeared have changed over the years.

When she appears at the Music Box Supper Club as part of its Cleveland Stories program, she’ll be talking about “Lost Cleveland Holiday Stories,” recalling traditions that some audience members will likely recollect from their own childhoods. If you remember shopping at the old Halle’s or Higbee’s downtown when they were decorated for the holidays or having a special holiday lunch at the Silver Grille with your grandmother, this one’s for you. Both her books will be available for sale and signing.

The program is free. There is a fixed-price three-course dinner available for $20, with noodles, turkey and dressing, and pumpkin pie. Dinner reservations should be made in advance.
