Go Behind the Scenes at Cleveland’s Oldest Art Gallery, Bonfoey

Wed 12/12 @ 6:30PM

Bonfoey Gallery is the oldest art gallery in Cleveland by far — even predating the Cleveland Museum of Art by a couple of decades. Currently, they’re showing the work of nine outstanding Cleveland artists, but they’re only the tip of the vast array of art work Bonfoey has available and the list of artists they represent.

If you’re curious about the range of art they offer and the services they provide to support artists and collectors, stop in for an evening “Behind the Scenes at Bonfoey.” You’ll learn about the various aspects of presentation and framing of work including hand carving, gilding and restoration. They’re promising a visit to the “shimmery gilding room,” which we hope doesn’t resemble Donald Trump’s penthouse too much,

There’ll be a wine and cheese social at 6:30, followed by the tour at 7:30pm. It’s free.
