Music Photogs Joe Kleon & Anastasia Pantsios Show Their Work at Loftworks Gallery

Fri 11/9 @ 5-9PM

Sat 11/10 @ 2-8PM

Sun 11/11 @ noon-5PM

Last year, two of the northeast Ohio’s top music photographers, Joe Kleon and Anastasia, got together for a joint show called “Rock/Roll Perspectives.” It was a three-day blast of their favorite shots — more than 200 of them — at Loftworks Gallery in AsiaTown.

And more than 500 people came, so they’re doing v. 2, with an expanded number of photos and a lot of new and never-before-seen shots. Joe will have photos from many of the concerts he’s shot in the last year, while Anastasia did a deep-dive into her old negatives for images she’s never printed before, while also adding some more recent and color work she didn’t include the last go-around.

Expect to see such iconic artists as the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Rush, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Taylor Swift and Queen. Also expect to see some Cleveland favorites including Southside Johnny, Artful Dodger and Suzi Quatro, along with plenty of Michael Stanley! All will be for sale, and ideal for holiday gift-giving.

Anastasia was one of the best-known, most active concert photographers in Cleveland from the mid 70s through the late 80s, while also working as a music writer. Her work appeared in many books, tour programs, magazines, newspapers and albums. Most recently, some of her photos are included in the new Metallica …And Justice for All box set and the upcoming Peter Laughner set on Smog Veil Records.

Joe began shooting after buying an expensive camera for his 2002 honeymoon, and started looking for ways he could put it to use. His connections in the music business through his long-time work as a radio announcer led to opportunities to shoot bands and concerts. Today he shoots more than 100 concerts a year and is the personal photographer for Michael Stanley and Pink Floyd tribute band Wish You Were Here.
