Guitar-Playing Romero Family Quartet Comes to Oberlin’s Finney Chapel

Sun 11/18 @ 2:30PM

If you love classical guitar, you’ll adore the Romeros, a quartet of six-string players founded in Spain by Celedonio Romero and his three sons in 1958. Celedonio passed away in 1996; now two of those sons — Celin and Pepe — continue this family tradition, with Celino’s son Celino and Lito, son of brother Angel, who left the group in 1990.

They’ll perform at Oberlin’s Finney Chapel, where they’ll play music by Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla and Heitor Villa-Lobos, among others.

Tickets are $35; $30 for senior, and $10 for students.
