For Freedoms Town Hall Looks at Teens and Gun Violence at Campus International School

Sat 11/10 @ 1PM

For Freedoms was founded by artists Hank Willis Thomas and Eric Gottesman in 2016 to give artists a outlet to engage in civic and political conversations through educational programming as well as their work.

MOCA Cleveland has been hosting a series of For Freedoms town halls. But the next one, dealing with teens and gun violence, will take place at another location, the Campus International High School on the edge of downtown.

There, Gottesman and moderator Dan Moulthrop of the City Club of Cleveland will be joined by panelists Jammal Lemy, Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School alumni and creative director of March For Our Lives; Cleveland-born actor and hip-hop artist Ezri; and multi-disciplinary artist/performer Shaun Leonardo. Leonardo will also lead a teen workshop/performance exploring the impact of gun violence using movement.

The event is free and open to all.
