On Small Business Saturday, while you’re out and about, make at stop at Dru Christine Fabrics and Design in the Lake Affect Studios to visit CoolCleveland’s fashion columnist Dru Thompson. Her work/retail space will be packed with gift-giving items such as scarves, bowties, headgear, jewelry and more, as well as fabrics and other items to create your own holiday décor.
You can also register for the latest of her popular Sip N Sew classes: “Ugly Holiday Sweater.” Why buy one when you can make your own? Bring a sweater, and, she promises, “We bring the ugly.” The $35 registration fee covers fabric, supplies, snacks and two glasses of wine, plus use of the sewing machines. All levels of sewing skills are welcome. Come early @ 1PM for some treats and shopping.
