Come to Cleveland’s Longest-Running Holiday Art Walk in Little Italy

Fri 11/30 @ 5-9PM

Sat 12/1 @ noon-9PM

Sun 12/2 @ noon-5PM

With all the new opportunities across the city to see art, visit galleries and artist building, shop craft bazaar and art sales and more, it’s easy to forget about Little Italy, Cleveland’s first artist neighborhood.

But it too is having its holiday art walk this weekend, and it still boasts many galleries, artist studios and boutiques worth checking out (to say nothing of a scad of great restaurants within easy walking distance, ranging from casual and cheap to upscale).

You’ll want to stop in the Murray Hill Schoolhouse of course, once ground zero for the neighborhood’s art colony and still featuring studios by artists such as portraitist Tricia Kamen who is almost always open for these events. Also in the Murray Hill Schoolhouse is a relatively new gallery, Art at the Schoolhouse, which will open its Holiday Extravaganza show and sale Fri 11/30 @ 6-9pm. It will feature work by more than a dozen local artists including Dawn Tekler, Shari Wilkins, Herb Ascherman, John Carlson and Jeannette Palsa.
