Belgian early music ensemble Vox Luminis is a relative newcomer to the classical music scene. It was founded in 2004 by artistic director Lionel Meunier, drawing mostly on musicians from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and has now released a dozen albums and toured around the world. It draws its repertoire from Italian, German and English music from the 16th through the 18th centuries, with the size of the ensemble fluctuating depending on the pieces being performed.
The group will perform at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium, with a program of Bach motets. Tickets are $38-$59.
