Harris Stanton Gallery’s Cleveland gallery in the Warehouse District opens its fall season with Form + Fiber, a group show featuring the work of three northeast Ohio artists: Charlotte Lees, Beth Lindenberger (pictured) and Charity Thomas.
The common thread in the work is that each one’s is based on organic or natural elements. Lees makes both freestanding and wall sculptures from natural wood and metal, as well as paint and photo imagery. Lindenberger creates porcelain ceramics that take inspiration from nature and living organisms. And textile/fiber artist Charity Thomas uses paper and thread to explore texture, form and light.
The show opens with a reception Thu 10/18 @ 5:30-8pm; the artists will talk @ 6:30pm It runs through Sat 11/17.
