Rock Hall Shows Amateur Films of Old Cleveland Concerts at Home Movie Day

Sat 10/20 @ 2PM

A while back, the Rock Hall Archives and Library put out a call for people’s amateur movies and video taken at local rock concerts. And while the quality of these efforts wasn’t always great, they offer a unique historical document of special events.

Now they’re sharing some of its at Home Movie Day at the Rock Hall’s Foster Theatre. They’ll feature clips of such bands as the Dead Boys, the Beatles at Public Hall and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band at Richfield Coliseum as well as footage from the World Series of Rock at the old Lakefront Stadium. And some of the donors will be present to talk about their experiences and how they got the footage.

It’s free with a reservation. Go to ticketing.rockhall.com.
