The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory has brought a lot of magic to Cleveland. In just over a decade, it’s taught hordes of artists to do amazing things with paper and how to create their own paper.
The “Magic of the Morgan” is being celebrated at its 11th annual benefit and art auction. Walk through the doors of its vast studio space to more than 100 works on the walls by local and regional artists and artists who have worked at the Morgan, and bid in the silent auction on your favorites. (Check out some of the work here). There’ll also be papermaking, print and bookmaking demos to check out, music by the Glenn Holmes trio, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
General admission is $40; students are $25.
