Meet the Libertarian Candidate for Governor at Lakewood’s Forage Public House

Thu 10/4 @ 7PM

You’ve doubtless been hearing a lot about Democratic candidate for governor Rich Cordray and Republican Mike DeWine, and seeing their ads on TV. But if you’d like to explore the full range of options, come on out to the Forage Public House in Lakewood for an informal meet-and-greet with Libertarian candidate for governor of Ohio Travis Irvine.

Irvine, who’s in his early 30s, is a native of the Columbus area who attended Ohio University and the Columbia Journalism School with a long-time interest in politics. He previously ran (unsuccessfully) for mayor of Bexley and Congress in Oh-12. If you’d like to learn more before going so you can plan what you’d like to ask him, go here.

The Cuyahoga County Libertarian Party, which is hosting the event, says “Remember, the Libertarian Party exists to keep Republicans out of our bedrooms and Democrats out of our wallets.” That’s not quite accurate; the Republicans are the ones in both. But all are welcome to come see what Libertarians have to offer while checking out the menu of drinks available for purchase at the Forage House. There’s no admission charge and no registration is necessary.
