Local Blues-Rock Mainstay Colin Dussault Plays His Greatest Hits at the Music Box

Fri 10/12 @ 8PM

It’s been nearly 30 years since vocalist/harmonica player/songwriter Colin Dussault, one of Cleveland’s hardest working musicians, formed his own bluesy rockin’ band, the Colin Dussault Blues Project. And they have gigged just about everywhere in the region; they’re not hard to find.

In that time, Dussault has released numerous albums and tracks, many with a good-time party vibe, others with pointed commentary on the political landscape such as “Stand Up, Speak Out,” written after the Valentine’s Day shootings at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida to push back against NRA gun-mad culture. (Warning: if you’re an avid right-winger, he won’t be your cup of tea; go see Mike “Mad Dog” Adams instead).

Dussault and his band will be at the Music Box Supper Club to celebrate the 20th anniversary and re-release of his Good Booty & BBQ CD where he’ll be playing all his favorite tunes from the last 30 years. Count on a smokin’ good time. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
