Cleveland’s Public Theatre’s Teatro Público de Cleveland’s preview of works in progress, ¡Obras en Evolucion! A Festival of New Play Readings, is back for another round.
The three evenings feature staged readings of scripts and scenes in progress created and performed by members of the Teatro Público de Cleveland ensemble. Performances, which take place in the James Levin Theatre, will be in both English and Spanish.
But these evenings are also a party. In addition to the performances, there’ll be Latin food and live music before the performances at 6pm, dancing and socializing after the Friday and Saturday performances. Audiences are encouraged to give feedback to the ensemble members following the performances so they can hear what’s working and what isn’t.
General admission is $10-$15.
