Members of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, led by their director and clarinetist Carl Topilow, will conclude Chagrin Arts 2018 Performing Arts series “The Classics,” with a look at the ever-popular Great American Songbook.
Topilow and his players, featuring Marshall Griffith on piano and Julie Gulenko on vocals, will explore those popular Broadway and film tunes from the 1920s through the 1950s that have become standards in the repertoire of every jazz/pop vocalist and ensemble.
It takes place at the Solon Center for the Arts. Tickets are $25 for general seating, $32 for preferred seating, $5 for students under 25.
