Cleveland Metroparks’ Monthly Meetup at the Zoo Looks at the Formation of Big Creek Watershed

Mon 11/5 @ 6-8PM

Want to know more about how the topography of northeast Ohio came about — many eons ago? Come down to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Reinberger Education Center for Ceveland Metroparks monthly Monday MeetUp.

This month’s topic is “What’s Up with Big Creek.” Archaeologist Roy Larick and Amanda McGee, collections manager in the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Department of Vertebrate Paleontology will look at how the Big Creek area was formed and the changes it’s been through, from a sea bed to the formation of the watershed following the retreat of the glaciers to the current landscape.

The program includes light refreshments. Registration is required. Call
440-253-2145 or email wvpinfo@clevelandmetroparks.com.
