ARTneo, which collects, promotes, shows and educates about works by Cleveland artists from the 19th century to the present, is again hosting its Halloween party, ARTneo Underground, a costume party in the spirit of Cleveland’s legendary avant-garde Kokoon Club which existed from 1911-1940.
Guests are encouraged to do as they did: concoct elaborate or Cleveland handmade costumes. While costumes are not required (but encouraged) to enter the costume contest, you must have made your own garb — no store-bought attire allowed.
There will be music, dancing, limited edition prints by Stephanie Streeter available for sale and more. It starts right after Third Friday shuts down. Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
