Woof woof!
Once again it’s time for Woofstock, one of the Geauga County Humane Society’s signature events.
The dog- and family-friendly festival at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field offers a day’s worth of fun activities for both two- and four-legged creatures. There’s a Blessing of the Animals at 10:15 and 11:15, a senior dog Olympics for dogs 7 and over, a parade with prizes in various categories, and all day long, games and contests for dogs and their owners, including a dog/owner lookalike contest.
Additionally, there’s live music by Brendan Cosgroff, Eve’n’Stephen and the Willow Tree, food trucks and vendors. And just in case you don’t have a dog and want one, adoptable dogs from local rescues will be there looking for homes.
Admission is $5-$25 depending on which premium you want (T-shirt, bandana, wristband); all kids under 10 and dogs get in free.
