Storm Drain Stenciling Needs Volunteers in Cleveland Heights

Sat 9/15 @ 9:30AM-12:30PM

Storm drain stenciling is a Saturday program that roves through various neighborhoods, given by the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership.

Volunteers meet at a rendezvous site to mark paths of water runoff and drains throughout the community with the words “Lake Erie Starts Here.” It raises awareness of local watersheds and sewer patterns in a fun and team-spirited way.

For this Saturday, instruction and kits will be dispensed at the north end of the Cleveland Heights Community Center parking lot at the beginning. In case of rain, the stenciling may be pushed to Sunday.

Individuals, families, and scouts, school or church groups are welcome to participate for free, but registration is requested. Contact Andrew Klooster at 216-325-7781 or via
