Stop in the Name of Love and Come to a Talk About Art, Motown and Identity at MOCA

Thu 9/13 @ 7PM

MOCA Cleveland welcomes Motown recording icon Mary Wilson — and no, it’s not a concert or another Aretha funeral-tribute (or, in a way, is it?).

Wilson appears in a special panel/dialogue with Motown artistic development director Maxine Powell and the Rock Hall’s Leah Branstetter. They will not just be dishing about the music industry and Wilson’s famed membership in the Supremes, but also about how Motown became synonymous with Detroit and continues to contribute and enrich that industrial city’s culture, even through rust-belt hardships.

Admission is $15 or free for MOCA members.
