Polka Hall of Fame’s Slovenian Sausage Festival Combines Music Dancing & Eating at SNPJ Farm

Raddell’s Sausage Shop of Cleveland won last year’s People’s Choice at the Polka Hall of Fame Slovenian Sausage Festival

Wed 9/12 @ noon-8PM

Could anything be more Cleveland than polkas and Slovenian sausage? Together they fuel the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame’s annual Slovenian Sausage Festival, now in its 15th year.

Come on out to the SNPJ Farm in Kirtland to see what all the fuss is about, try offerings from some of northeast Ohio’s top sausage makers and vote for your favorite.

Then it’s time to hit the dance floor because, they share, 40 minutes of polka will burn up the calories from one Slovenian sausage. Is it true? Who knows? But we do know you’ll have a great time dancing to the music of thirteen Cleveland-style polka bands and entertainers, including Canadian Polka king Walter Ostanek, current Button Box Players of the Year, Ron Likovic and Patty C and the Guys, and Polka Hall of Famer Kathy Hlad. Also performing are Joe Godina and the Summit Button-Boxers, the Fairport Jammers, Ray Kovac and the Mahoning Valley Button Box Club, Anthony Culkar, Frank Svet, Aaron Dussing’s Polka Revolution, and Polka Hall of Famer Ron Sluga. There will be more performers announced later. And you can bring your own accordion and join in! We don’t know how many calories that will burn.

Winners are announced at 7pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the gate; 18 and under are free.
