Online Auction for Chef Experiences Benefits Job Training Program at Bloom Bakery

Through Thu 9/20

Bloom Bakery, whose mission is to train people with obstacles to employment for jobs in the culinary field, is having an online fundraiser through September 20 called A Toast to Cleveland Chefs.

Between now and then, people can go online and bid on four experiences including a private dinner with Food Network Chopped champion Adam Bostwick; a tour and tasting at a local Geneva winery with Accessible Gourmet chef and writer Michael Lyons; an insider preview of new Akron brewery and restaurant Lock 15 Brewing Company with executive chef John Taylor; and a luxury lake-to-table fishing experience with Jeremy Lisy of Green City Growers.

Packages will be auctioned online only through September 20 at midnight at https://bloombakery.com/. Auction winners will be announced September 21 at Towards Employments annual A Toast to New Tomorrows event. All proceeds benefit Bloom’s mission to prepare people for jobs and self-sufficiency.
