MOCA Cleveland Hosts Lake Erie Ink Youth Sci-Fi Writing Workshop

What better way for kids to sink their teeth into fall than with Lake Erie Ink’s (LEI) Youth Writing Workshop? This is part of a series of workshops for youths of all ages provided by LEI, and it takes place at MOCA Cleveland.

The subtitle for the program is Explores Building Alternate Realities in Science Fiction and Fantasy Stories, and covers everything youth need to know about crafting great science fiction or fantasy stories.

Charlotte Morgan leads the workshop. She teaches composition and rhetoric at CSU, is a former journalist and nonfiction writer, and has authored film scripts, plays, and short science fiction stories. Morgan is currently is completing her novel The Warhol Moment, plus the play, The Least, the Last and the Lost.

Admission costs $10 at the door, but scholarships are available. Registration is encouraged.
