Hazelmade Journal

Sat 9/8 @ 10AM-6PM

Sun 9/8 @ 11AM-5PM

Kent Parks and Recreation presents the 25th Art in the Fred Fuller Park. Look for over 100 artists, kids’ activities, a silent auction and live music on two stages.

This year’s featured artist is Susan Hazel Rich, a Kent native who happens to be last year’s Best of Show artist. Some of Rich’s Hazelmade, a line of unique stationery and home goods showcasing Rich’s hand-illustrated artwork, will be for sale. Rich draws inspiration from the gardens on her 1920s Kent home.

The Akron Symphonic Winds, whose mission it is to bring free, high-quality music to Summit, Portage, Wayne and Medina counties, support music in schools, and reach diverse audiences, provides great sounds. Admission is free.
