Dan Ruminski is a businessman-historian whose books and presentations have earned him the title (and website URL) “Cleveland Storyteller.” He goes west to the Avon Lake Public Library to recall the days when Euclid Avenue was called “Millionaires Row,” without irony (or LeBron).
In those giant, now-vanished mansions of the Cleveland industrialists and bankers of yesteryear, scandal still made headlines. In a presentation for the local historical society Heritage Avon Lake, Ruminski will discuss the famous and infamous women who were as much a topic of gossip as on the social register.
