Has it been a year already since the monthly Burlesco shows were launched at the Alex Theater at the 9 downtown? Hidden inside the Metropolitan Hotel is this little theater that has presented a wide variety of offbeat entertainment in an up-close, intimate atmosphere, with fine food and craft beverages available.
Join the one-year anniversary celebration of these burlesque shows with glitz and glamour provided by Lily Von Matterhorn (pictured), Cece Noir, Lady Slay, Sapphire Savant, Bella Sin (whose troupe Le Femme Mystique co-produces the shows) and more — burlesque, comedy, drag.
Tickets are $20-$90. Afterwards you can have drinks at Azure top and dance in the Vault, so make a night of it. Doors are at 7:30pm; showtime is 8:30pm.
