The monthly Walkabout Tremont will catch the last full flush of summer with its August theme — “Let’s Luau.”
As usual, there will be live music, art openings, food trucks, food and drink specials in the local restaurants, cafes and bars, sales in the neighborhood boutiques, vendors on the street and street entertainers. In addition, there will be a Hawaiian shirt contest so wear your most garish one!
Other evenings in the neighborhood include a free Arts in August performance by Inlet Dance in Lincoln Park at 8:30 and another “Women and Whiskey” evening at Prosperity Social Club from 8-11pm, featuring cocktail specials and a performance by Americana singer/songwriter Rebekah Jean.
