PHOTOSTREAM: Third Friday @ 78th Street Studios by Anastasia Pantsios

Fri 8/17

Things calmed down a bit at 78th Street Studios for August’s Third Friday, after the month-long July CAN Triennial there. Some of the CAN pieces were still on view throughout the building, such as the garden adjacent to the north parking lot put together by Fresh Eggs Design and Jeff Chiplis’ new installation inside the main entrance in back. Two new things stood out: the spectacular exhibit of work by the late Cleveland photographer Masumi Hayashi, filling all of the Tregoning & Company gallery, and an extensive display of the work of Shirley Aley Campbell in the second floor gallery, honoring the Cleveland painter who had died just four days earlier at the age of 93.
