Local Summer Bounty Stars at CVNP’s “Vegetarian Harvest” Chef’s Dinner

 The trouble for some of us vegetarians with so many special chef’s dinners is that you’re paying for a lot of meat. Not so with the next in the Dinner in the Valley series of chef’s dinners hosted by Cuyahoga Valley National Park chef Larkin Rogers at CVNP’s Octagon Shelter.

“Vegetarian Harvest” will start with Chef Rogers talking about getting the most from your trip to the farmers market, undoubtedly sharing information about the homestead farms in the national park and what’s grown and raised there. Then she’ll prepare a meal made from the copious bounty of local farmers, now at the peak of their harvest season. The menu is based on what’s in season!
