Learn More About the History of Street Art at Artists Archives Program at 78th Street Studios

Sat 8/18 @ 1-4PM

As part of the programming around its current show GRAPHIC- the Counter Culture of Cartoons, Comics & Graphic Novels in Northeast Ohio, Artists Archives of the Western Reserve is presenting an educational program called The History of Street Art, featuring Cleveland street artist Bob Peck and internationally known graffiti curator/historian/author/collector Roger Gastman.

Peck will talk about the history of Cleveland graffiti from the 1980s to today, telling stories about the works and their creators and showing photos of some of the pieces. Gastman will talk about how the regional scene fits into what was and is going on nationally and internationally.

The two-part program, which takes place on the ramp level of the 78th Street Studios, is free and open to all but you must register. Go here.
