Teens STEP to Cleveland Public Parks with Live Theater

Tue 7/31-Fri 8/10

Cleveland Public Theatre’s executive artistic director Raymond Bobgan presents the reprise of Student Theatre Enrichment Program (STEP), the city’s longest-running arts and job training program for teens.

In its 24th year, STEP features the latest original play, After the Shadow, which will tour Cleveland city parks. The play follows three sisters through life-and-death circumstances that bring self-discovery. Trust and love must win over fear and hate.

STEP is an eight-week intensive program where CPT teaching artists use works of literature as a starting point for teens to create their own original productions. For a complete list of numerous park locations, including alternate sites in case of inclement weather, visit the website.

Admission is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
