Now That’s Class’s Summerslam 2018 Reunites Punk Bands from All Over the Place

Tony Erba

Sat 7/7 @ 7PM

We have no idea what might go down at Summerslam 2018 at Now That’s Class, but since it’s being billed as Erba Birthday Vol. 50, we’re guessing it’s going to be wild and crazy, since Tony Erba is Cleveland’s most unrestrained punk legend.

The lineup features Toronto hardcore icons Career Suicide, thrashing since 2002 but making their first-ever Cleveland appearance and a whole bunch of reunions: Kent/Akron punk band Hyper as Hell, Detroit garage-punk band the Paybacks, and Cleveland heavy noise band of the ’00s, Amps II Eleven, fronted by Erba. Erba’s current band Fuck You Pay Me and Brit punks Cider are also on the bill, and they’re teasing yet another reunion set from a surprise band.

Doors open at 7pm; it’s $20 in advance, $22 at the door which is a hell of a bargain considering all the bands you get to hear.
